He too had a very successful season, with personal records of Rounding out the team was junior Vincent Larente in 42nd place in a time of Vincent made significant improvements across the board this year and we look forward to his senior campaign. Earlier this season, Vincent ran personal bests of The Varsity seven was well-supported by the rest of the DVCC Crew who did an amazing job flying all over the course to encourage their teammates on to victory.

Everyone from the team played a role and made this latest State Championship a possibility. A heartfelt thank you to all the selfless parents and coaches and boosters who have contributed so much time and effort over this season.

Ivette Fierros was second overall and led the ladies while Panthers were five of the first seven gentlemen led by Felix Sanchez and Sammy Schilling. Our next meet is in Flagstaff on Saturday. The Cross Country season has arrived with much hope. Our hope is inspired by some of the newcomers to our team this year: Saturday, September 1, The long weekend and cooler temperatures in Flagstaff treated your Panther Cross Country team well this past Saturday. The ladies placed ninth and the gentlemen placed fifth out of nearly twenty teams.

Saturday, September 8, Your Panthers Cross Country competed in Prescott, AZ on Saturday demonstrated to the other twenty-four teams we will be a force throughout the season. Of our eighteen student-athletes, fifteen set a personal record or ran a season best. Our next competition is Wednesday at Verrado High School with the first race starting at 5: Your Panthers Cross Country team competed yesterday against five other schools as we continue to improve.
Wednesday, September 19, Ivette Fierros and Ashley Villalba were third and fourth, and Arely Moreno ran a season best as she was able to race the first time on both legs and placed fifteenth!!!!
